---Mary Oliver, “When I am Among the Trees”
Join us as we celebrate the Summer Solstice, allowing the warmth of community and the warm rays of the sun to revitalize our spirits and shine a light into the darkness.
Slow down. Breathe. Release. Heal. Kindle the light within.
Spend time outside on the beautiful grounds of Hills of Peace campground, and let nature remind you of your sacred connection to all life. Explore healing spiritual practices to help ground and resource you for difficult times, integrating body, mind, heart and spirit. Shine the light of awareness inwards, illuminating places in need of healing, and finding the resources and courage you need to let your light shine.
Travelling to Hills of Peace: The best way to get to Hills of Peace is from the Hwy 600. Turn south onto Range Road 55A, following the signs to Capt Ayre Lake and Resort. From the turn off, travel about 5 kms to the Compressor Station (on left), turn right onto the access road and follow the sandy road to the campground (4 kms). We recommend travelers avoid using the access road from Jct Hwy 41 & 599 as this road is not maintained and is in poor condition. Be cautious about using use Google
